Mental health care is in crisis after Tory cuts | Health | Life & Style | Daily Express

I realise that everyone in the country is having a tough time with the NHS. People waiting for operations, treatment, scans, community support. All these functions are being cut and this makes life difficult for anyone in need of their help.

I can only speak from a mental health point of view, but even though money is tight, it is so important that people get the help they need. Doctors and Nurses work so hard to keep the NHS afloat and they deliver an amazing service often at the expense of their own well being.

Simply reducing the funding isn’t going to make these people go away, they still need help regardless of how much money the NHS has.

I don’t know what the answer is, but I am sure that it doesn’t involve leaving many people in desperate need.

If the government really want people to get off benefits and get back to work, maybe they should stop cutting peoples access to care.
