This interview on BBC News with the former mental health champion Natasha Devon, is sad for all those who would have benefited from her voice.

She has claimed that her role was axed due to her voicing concerns about young people being constantly tested at school. I don’t know if that is true of course, but it might just have been a deciding factor.

I agree with her that the testing of children is getting to much for some and could be a cause for concern. I hope that the new champion who has a remit for cross department issues, will give young peoples mental health the time is needs.
