I am a freelance writer and web designer who suffers from anxiety disorder and OCD. I have had these problems since I was 7 years old and in that time I have seen several therapists including Professor Ewell at the Maudsley Hospital. I also occasionally need medication to control the most severe episodes, but I am hoping this is just a temporary thing.
I am trying to take control of my anxiety using yoga and meditation, which is in the early stages.
I wanted to write this blog to hopefully help others who are experiencing these feelings for the first time. I also wanted to show people that these issues are nothing to be ashamed of or stigmatised.
